The 34th largest state by area in the U.S., it is the 7th-most populous with nearly 11.5 million residents. The state's capital is Columbus. The Anglicized name 'Ohio' comes from the Iroquois word ohi-yo’, meaning 'great river'. There is nothing wrong with purchasing a reptile from a chain store. Not all chain stores are bad. For every bad chain store that I have been to, I have been to an equal number of independent pet shops that have had rude staff and/or dirty cages.
