GNU Free Documentation License How much do immigration companies charge? Q. We are looking into moving to Canada from the UK. We are going to an Expo in October and are planning a visit at Easter. My hubby is on the skilled workers list and are hoping to get in this way. We were wondering if we should sign up to a specialist company to help us. However I can't find any information on the charges. Does anyone know or have any experience of the immigration process. Asked by Mel k - Wed Sep 9 07:26:29 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. As with immigration into the UK, if your case is straightforward, you should not need the services of an agency. They just take a fee for processing and making sure that your application is submitted as per the rules. If you are of reasonable intelligence and take some time to research the Canadian immigration legislation, you should be able to do it yourself. If there is anything that is not straightforward, use an experienced immigration lawyer, even if it's just for advice or clarification on how to apply under any unusual circumstances. You can even use their services just to check your application is correct before you file it. You don't have to use them for the whole process.
