How many more illegal immigrants are going to take our American jobs away from us?
Q. It's hard for Americans to get jobs due to the fact that a lot of business are only hiring illegal immigrants so that they don't have to pay them as much salary. In other words they are using the illegal immigrants. However, the Americans are suffering because the jobs we were getting we can't get because of the illegal immigrants are taking all of our jobs. How long is this going to go on?

A. This will go on as long as our country is not serious about securing the borders and punishing those who hire the illegals. Also, if you were an illegal and knew that you could come over here and make more money, get free health care, get food stamps and your kids get a free education, would you not try it? We treat them better than we do our own hard working citizens.

Q. According to Obama, illegal immigrants are just undocumented people who are like people from the civil rights movement? Obama, sharing his vision of America as welfare state with the annual meeting of the National Council of La Raza, compared last year's massive immigration rallies, led by Hispanics, to the civil-rights marches of African-Americans in the 1960's. To the Harvard-trained lawyer, the illegal immigrants are just "undocumented immigrants" who just haven't had a chance to get the paperwork done. It certainly is new for someone, campaigning for our nation's highest office, to see representation of the millions who are here illegally, as part of those responsibilities.

Is it illegal to use a car seat in a single cab pickup?
Q. I'm not positive but I think it's illegal to install an infant car seat in the front seat. So if the vehicle doesn't have a back seat, is it illegal to use it? If it makes a difference I live in Minnesota, the truck is a 98 Silverado, no airbags that I know of. Anyone know?

A. It is not illegal to put an infant car seat in the front seat., but a '98 truck likely has driver and passenger side airbags, if it goes off it could injure the child. Newer trucks have a switch to shut off the passenger airbags. Perhaps you should consider trading up.
