Q. I need to replace the front speakers on a 1995 Oldsmobile 88 LSS, how do I remove the door panels to gain access to them?

A. First things first: Disconnect the battery so as to NOT short out any of the other electric systems or any of the fuses. Next, open the door and find the inside door handle. There's either going to be a black Philips head screw above or below the handle. It may be also covered with a small piece of plastic. If covered, just pull off the cover and put it aside to cover the screw up later. Remove the screw and save it. Here's where it gets fun. There should be about three to four more screws. Some on the door handle pull(the big one, not the opener lever that is) and the door panel too. Next, take a paint scraper and carefully pry between the panel and the door itself. You're looking for these plastic "posts" that go through the… [cont.]
