2002 Impala: How do I remove inner driver door panel to access window and mechanisms?
Q. 2002 chevy impala, driver side window. Are there screws or do I just pop it with a screw driver. Please only answer if you know or have a good idea. Please don't respond with a guess such as, "just use a screwdriver" or "check your owners manual" or "look for screws" thank you

A. ok if you have power windows it should be easy... first check for screws then remove them also where you grip to close to door. after removing those gently pry on the sides with a pry tool if you have one but I've been able to use a screwdriver ...then once detached from the door remove the window/lock harness then there you go... The only thing different if you got manual windows n locks is that you have to remove the clamp on the window regulator handle and the rod from the lock button.

A. Well I have no exact knoweledge of your exact model and year most door panels are the same. Look under neath and where the arm rests is for any screws. Once you've removed any screws the bottom of the door is held on with plastic fastners called christmas trees, look up plastic christmas tree fastners and you'll see what they look like they just press into a hole and lock. You'll pry up on the bottom of the door to get it lose the slide the panel straight up to gett it out of the window channel. Its really an easy project, and if you break a christmas tree or two no biggie you can go to your local auto parts store and pic some up there real cheap! Good luck!

Q. Well Ive been hearing meowing for the past month from outside of my bedroom. There is a little access panel door that leads to under the house, and lately I've been seeing cats run in and out. Now today I heard a meow like it was from a kitten, and Ive seen this kitten actually a few times. What are some ways of coaxing it out? It's extremely dangerous down there for anything let alone a little kitten. I have evaporated milk in a small saucer sitting on the ledge to underneath, but I was wondering if there were any more steps I could take to gaining it's trust.

Do plumbing access panels come with openings where you can turn the valve and not remove the entire panel?
Q. It is almost impossible to remove my access panel under the sink to turn on/off the valve. If it had a little opening or door, it would be much easier to get under the sink and simply open the door and turn the valve.

A. you say water running out the door panel? what? why do you think its the sun roof? what happen to my car is the door drains got clogged and the door was filling up with water. if it is the sunroof it is the drain lines unless your car was seriously damaged in a wreck. You can see the 2 in the front when the sun roof is open here is what you do take windshield washer fluid because it has color to it and poor it around the drain holes and wait and see if it runs out on the ground. It should run out in 4 places if not then you can tell which one is clogged. I thought i had a clogged tube but they are not tubes that just have a channel build into the car and what happened to mind is it rusted out then i had to install tubes.

Q. I have a 60" Philips DLP TV that is not working. About two months ago the lamp failed light was flashing and then stopped. The last week or so it became darker and darker and then no picture. Two days ago it shut itself off and the power light began blinking six times slow and five times fast. Philps suggested trying a software upgrade which didnt work because it wouldnt stay on long enough to recognize the download. The lamp is on backorder with no known date of being restocked. The model number is 60PL9200D/37. Any suggestions of what can be done other than purchasing a new tv? This one is about 2-3 years old. Front passenger door will not open. Will my car pass NJ inspection?
Q. The front passenger door lock is broken so the pin will not pull up I can't open the door with the key. Will the car pass NJ inspection?? Anyone know if DMV checks the doors? ps. I would of fixed the door myself if there was a way to swing it open at least one time. A. It will not pass. Working doors are a safety issue. If there is a problem and you cant get out, this would be a bad thing. You could call a tow truck or an auto club to see if they can get it open with a slim jim.

I have a MAYTAG gas dryer about 15 years old with burner not working?
Q. I was able to pull away from the wall open small access door turned on dryer did not hear any clicking like burner was trying to ignite. I did not hear or smell any gas which tells me gas is not being let into burner. I really I have no idea how to access the burner since the frame of the dryer seems to be one piece and not made of indiviual panels. Model number is LD69606 AAE Quiet Plus

Can I refuse to pay my rent?
Q. The apartment building I live in has serious roof damage and needs repair. I informed the leasing company of a leak in my family room last August and again in September. The first week of February they told me that someone would be out to make repairs to the roof the following weekend and I was advised not to pay my March rent. As of April 1st the leak was still present and I was told not to pay my rent again. A. You can't do anything about these things without a court order. You can not force this without a court order. Sue for breach of contract and request an escrow account. what happens is you pay rent into the account, but the landlord does not receive rent until the roof is fixed. That is if the judge agrees with you that the contract was breached. You have a 50-50 shot.

Q. The apartment building I live in has serious roof damage and needs repair. I informed the leasing company of a leak in my family room last August and again in September. The first week of February they told me that someone would be out to make repairs to the roof the following weekend and I was advised not to pay my March rent. As of April 1st the leak was still present and I was told not to pay my rent again. On May 1st a different management company took over to manage the building for the bank, as the owner filed bankruptcy - they have been out to "inspect the unit" twice since then. How do I make a hole in the wall for a doggy door?
Q. I would like to take out the doggy door panel in the sliding glass door. I want to make a hole in the wall (large hole) so that my dog still has access to the backyard and house at all times. How do I make the hole? Im not sure of what tools to buy or where to start, thanks!

A. With all due respect, if you're not sure what you're doing I'd consider getting someone in to do the job for you. If you do it and it goes wrong you'll have a big hole in the wall and an even bigger bill to get it fixed. It's not an easy task and there's much more to it then just knocking a hole in the wall - not least of which is preventing the wall above the hole from falling down.

How do i get to my door speakers on a 1993 dodge caravan???
Q. How do i get to my door speakers on a 1993 dodge caravan??? I cant get the cover off of the speaker to access it. The passenger side cover is broken off, and the clips are still in there, but i cannot get them out either. Do i have to take the whole door panel off or something???
