How to tell if a loan modification company is legit and do they need to be licensed?
Q. We've been working with a company for a couple months now in modifying our home loan. We've sent them statements and information that they've requested, but no payments yet. A family member who is also working with this company called us and told us they were worried because they just found out they are not licensed. Can anyone help me out with this, does a company need to be licensed to do loan modifications?

How do I get a callus on my fingertips quickly so I can be able to play guitar?
Q. I just started playing guitar, and I found out that after a while playing guitar, you eventually get a callus. It is really painful when I press my fingers onto the strings, so I really need a callus to stop the pain.

A. You have to press more on the strings...I know it can be painful, if you can, practice on a guitar with high action(the space between the string and the fretboard). Eventually, if you practice enough, you'll get calluses. If you practice a lot, they should form within a week. But for now, practice, until your fingers hurt, rub them so that the impressions of strings on your fingers disappear, and then practice some more. And don't forget the pinky, don't think you can get away playing guitar without using your 4th finger:) Good luck, and if you have any more questions about learning guitar, you can email me.

What are some ways to make a wedding original?
Q. My fiance and I are newly engaged and are having trouble planning a wedding that is not so "cookie-cutter". (We've been to four weddings since January and could pretty much make a play by play call of what was going to happen at each wedding.) What is a good political issue to use for my assignment?
Q. For my political science class I have to write a one-page e-mail to an elected official (it can be anyone in the U.S as long as they are currently elected) about any political issue. It can be opposing their views or agreeing with them... the topic is very open. A. Health care reform is a real political hot button right now. I'm sure that you could easily write a 1-page email on this topic. You could send it straight to the president or Hilary Clinton (she is a huge advocate of universal health care in the US). If you are looking for ideas, scan through the political section of Y/A. You will find many of the hot topics in the news on here as well. Just take everything that you read with a grain of salt. You will need to do the research yourself, but this is a good starting point to see what some issues that you could potentially discuss are. Good luck :)

Q. I was at least a week late and kept getting a negative result. Finally two weeks late, i got a positive. Is it possible that the prevouse period could have just been spotting and i got pg sooner than i think? Is it possible to be pg for two months and still get a negative?
