What do you think about our American society?
Q. I think it's both hysterically funny and great, and depressingly bad. The great part comes from, you can literallywatch whatever you want on 1000 channels, rent video games/movies..eat whatever you want,...literally do whatever the heck you want...no holds barred for the most part. And I mean, can anyone really beat that? No. The downside is that, NO ONE cares about the inividual, meaning you and me as a person. Other than family/friends, it's all pretty much about corporate interest first, money,business, etc, and we have 1000 problems from drugs, to political differences, religious differences,...and we're just a very unfriendly bunch. Our society also expects alot out of the individual, and wants you to live up to expectations...which [cont.]

A. I think I can get what you are saying... Society doesn't care about the individual and what we do? Individuals are only supposed to want success for material goods? It seems like that at times, yeah. Kudos for speaking your mind.
